The hostal was in the heart of Madrid, 50m from Puerta del Sol with an elevator available. The room was clean, spacious enough with a balcony and air conditioning, and the bathroom seemed recently renovated. The staff were friendly, efficient, and allowed luggage storage before check-in at 7 am.
