We got great value in a superb location and didn’t expect much from a place calling itself a hostel, but our room was clean, quiet, had a safe, fridge, tea making facilities, and air con. It was cleaned daily, had a friendly receptionist all day, and was very central for everything in Madrid, plus the bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of space to unpack.
