The apartment was clean, small but comfortable with kitchen utensils, iron, hairdryer, shower products, dishwashing detergent, olive oil and spices. The location was in the Latina barrio near Plaza Mayor and 1.3 km from the center with many bars, taverns and restaurants nearby. The area had an African and Indian vibe with many immigrants but police presence was strong. The flat had working heating in the bedroom and self-checking was available.
