We found this place a great way to check out a less touristy part of Madrid without spending much. The apartment is a typical 1960s build with three double bedrooms and basic facilities, and the host helped us out despite only speaking a bit of English. It’s pretty safe, quiet, and right by a bus that takes about 50 minutes to the city center, plus there are supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and a library nearby.
