Modern, clean, and very comfortable apartment had a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, utensils, microwave, washing machine, and large drying rack. The bathroom was modern with a heated towel rail, rain fall shower head, great water pressure and plentiful hot water. Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom was a lifesaver in Madrid's hot weather. The host was helpful and provided quality toiletries including makeup remover, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, soap as well as coffee and tea capsules plus a bottle of mineral water on arrival. Secure location was quiet with good access to two metro stations (lines 1 & 9), one stop from Chamartín main train station, supermarket and bakery Spelta were within walking distance along with bars offering basic eating options nearby.
